Adrenalin Forest

There is a ropes course, high in the trees, that we've wanted to go to for a while now. They require the kids be a certain height so we've been waiting, patient cm by cm.

Finally, with shoes on, Quinn was tall enough

In a very laissez faire Kiwi way (or as they say here "she'll be right"), they never even checked the height of the kids. And we were in! A whole village in the tree tops.

The courses get higher and harder as you go, from levels 1-7. It was so exciting for the girls to finally get to do it. Lucas and I loved it too, but were also trying very hard not to pull any of our 47 year old muscles!

Headed up course 2, finally having figured out the safety harnesses.

Shaky obstacles and bridges mixed with zip lines

The girls were fearless and way out in front

It was like visiting an Ewok village

Skateboard in the trees

Final zip line, so hard to hold on so long!
