At the beach

Quinn had a play date with her friend Mara and they spent the afternoon looking in tide pools and climbing rocks. Her mom sent me some photos.

Meanwhile, Wren’s friend got sick so her play date was cancelled. So she and I had our own. We biked to island bay beach.

She said ‘what if I was a world famous gymnast and I wrote New Zealand in the sand, all over the world, and then did a cartwheel over it.” The simplicity of her 10 year old dream... So she wrote NZ in the sand, then drew a heart then wrote love and did acrobatics in each. It’s so Wren, the combo of love and handstands.
