Walking Visits

One of the benefits of going to a neighborhood school is that so many of our friends live a short walk away. The girls wrote some letters and picked out some books to give to their friends and we walked the items to their houses (where they will put them into 3 day quarantine).

Everyone was home:) so we got to catch up from a safe distance and see them face to face. We knocked and said "trick o treat from 6 feet!" when they opened the door. To which Wren's friend Ruby replied "what's 6 feet?" and we converted to the non-rhyming metric equivalent.

Shadow play on the walk

After dropping by Quincy's house up the hill, we passed by the lonely bus stop and this sign was up.

We danced like someone was watching.

Ruby and her family came by yesterday and laid out some (non-touched) chocolate easter eggs for us to find in the yard. So great to stay connected even in this lockdown.
