Good Friday

Normally grocery stores here close for the holiday on the Friday and Sunday of Easter weekend. It's especially critical to know that this year! So there was absolutely no reason to go anywhere on Friday.

Instead, we biked to the sports field by the school and played soccer. So much more space! It was glorious to soak up all that sunshine. I love that soccer has finally taken hold of the girls' interest. They have vastly improved since lockdown started, and more importantly, they enjoy playing.

We got to work dyeing eggs for Easter. Easter egg dye kits don't exist here so I was thinking I'd have to boil up some purple cabbage, tumeric and coffee grounds to make colors, but found a good recipe for dye using food coloring.
