45!

Just a few days after Wren's bday is Lucas'. It was a pinger of a day! The girls put together a treasure hunt for Lucas with homemade cards as the treasure. They surprised him by dressing up in sparkly dresses, covered up by a blanket.

The clues, some drawn, some written, were priceless. They were tough to decode but Lucas put his best detective work into it. 

After soccer and breakfast out we took on the 'tip' track. The tip is the city dump, which comes into view at one point along the way. The trail starts and ends just a block from our house and Lucas had never seen it. So even though it was straight up, we tackled it for his birthday.

On the way down we got a beautiful view of our little bay, Owhiro Bay.
