Fun Run 2018

Annual time for the fun run! All the students at the school participate in a fall run. The youngest kids (Harakeke, Quinn's class) go around the school field, the next few go around the city field next door (including Whanake, Wren's class) , and the oldest go around all the fields and up the steep trail. Every year I volunteer to parent help, pointing out the right path for the different ages and getting to see the girls in action.

On a playdate the day before the fun run Wren and her friend Ruby devised a really sweet strategy to finish, tying for first, holding hands. 

Quinn ran hard and finished second, behind her best friend Amelia.
