Full circle

We returned to Nelson Lakes National Park, at St. Arnaud and our circle of the South Island was complete. I couldn't help but think about what we were like when we last were here, Wren and Quinn both sick with fever. Much better this time around. We stayed at a different house and could go right out the back door and through the beech woods to the lake.





A big kiwi brekkie on the ferry before it left.



Then up to the top deck helicopter pad to watch the Marlborough Sounds and the South Island recede from view.



The North Island then becomes clearer, closer and we see Wellington come into view.
