Capital E
Wellington's museums are free. On a rainy day or during the school holidays they are the perfect place to go. They have a spot on the waterfront called Capital E that is just for kids. During the holidays they put on a different program every day that kids can participate in. This fall's programme was to create an underwater scene using junk. The girls and I made sponges out of sponges, a coral reef out of an egg crate carton and jellyfish from old hats and torn fabric.
