Wren decided the theme for her 6 year old birthday party should be love. She made sure that the other kids had water and enough food. She would get up from her chair and attempt to rollerblaze over to one of us to ask for something for one of her guests. What 6 year old does that? She is a true sweetheart. She has always been such a sensitive soul. She speaks her mind and was chosen as the student representative for her year. She is also outrageously aware. Nothing gets by her. She notices anything new in her environment and will pick up on any emotion in the room. She caretakes all the new kids in her class, shepherding them through their first confusing weeks. If anyone gets hurt Wren is the first on the scene. She has mastered the monkey bars and is full of bumps and bruises from days spent wrestling and rough housing with her friends. She also loves all things feminine. She says she loves the clip clop sound of a woman in heels. I love watching her grow into a remarkable little girl.
