When we first moved here the doctor at the medical center said "you know you've really arrived in New Zealand when your kids get lice and threadworms". Don't look up threadworms, it's pretty bad. Luckily we haven't had them yet but a lice notice went out at school so we thought it was time to give the girls haircuts.
