Hooky
On Friday morning I asked Wren if she wanted to play hooky from school and join Quinn and I at the playcentre. I teach/manage 24 pre-schoolers on Fridays with 5 other moms and thought Wren would like to see what it's like.
The Island Bay librarian, Pauline, came in to do a storytime and stayed for morning tea
We set up a zipline for the kids and the girls had morning tea together, with Wren ringing the tea bell.
After session the parents all meet to talk about what worked and what to do for next week. During the meeting all the kids of those parents gather to chow on cheesy pasta. I'm so glad the girls are finally outgrowing their dairy intolerance.
