Fun run

The Owhiro Bay School has some unique ways to get the kids some exercise. Wren has swimming with her class on Fridays. They have a hip hop dance troupe teach the kids some moves once a week. And this week Wren had her first fun run. The school has some great fields and a city park adjacent to the school grounds. Island Bay school has to bus their kids to fields so we are lucky to have green space just out the door.

The whole school participated in the run. It was nothing fancy, with some kids running in gum boots or barefoot.
