During the nap
During Quinn's nap today Wren decided to milk her stuffed cat, pretending it was a cow. This is the outfit she donned to get the milking done. Afterwards, she and lucas discussed what could be done with the milk. He was good on how to make cheese but less sure about the churning for butter.
Wren has adopted the yellow bandana as part of her everyday outfit now.
During the nap Wren and I also took a walk to the Tawatawa reserve. It's my New Zealand equivalent of mt tabor, close enough to walk and just wild enough to satisfy the soul.

She found a vine to swing on and practiced being Tarzan
I was happy Wren could walk the whole hike with me. For as long as Quinn keeps sleeping her 2 hour naps we'll have time for cat milking and vine swinging.
