Stuff
Friday was designated stuff delivery day! There was a sense of happy anticipation. Seems like a great way to appreciate all your stuff anew--box it up and send it to yourself three months later. As excited as we all are to be reunited with our things we will also miss the simplicity of having only what we actually need. Why do I need alternate shoes when I've worn just one pair for three months? When we told Wren our stuff would be coming she said "but I'm going to miss making everything out of trash!"
Huge thanks to Nick for helping us with the first part of the shipping!!

Ah, the red couch. I bet it never thought that after 3 months of sedentary bedrest in 2012 it would then go to NZ in 2016. Our living room pre-stuff:

And post stuff:

kids' room. So many toys! It was stipulated in our moving contract that they don't put IKEA furniture back together. So Lucas tried to get all the beds reassembled by bedtime. We all spread out from one bed in one room on the main floor to two rooms upstairs.

Massey University moved us and also hired two ladies to help unpack us. They were so sweet and helped to unbox the kitchen.

See Wren, you can still play with trash!

Roma came over and brought her old doll house for the girls. She had painted it for them and applied different wrapping paper to each room.

Internet got installed the next day after our stuff arrived! Lucas says it's like NZ has finally decided we can stay.
